Fhe and gratitude

Fhe (Family home evening) was great Monday night,
Jackson was in charge and we played Minute to Win it.
We had so much fun.
Here are some of the crazy things we
did..
apple stacking was tricky

blowing 51 cards and leaving 1 on the vase was harder than it looked!

The subtle change in the weather
here in Az, makes me think about
gratitude (not sure why).
I may have done a post like this last year or so,
but I just felt that I wanted to
add to my gratitude list.
2010 has been full of many growing experiences
and I guess that I have been reflecting on them lately so
I wanted to add to my list.

So
here is some of what I am grateful for in 2010...
my home, husband,
Haley, Jackson, Madison and Jake,
extended family, great friends, RCBB,
What's your Virtue, my fast paced crazy life,
The Walter Cronkite School of Journalism at ASU,
my faith, my Savior, being a visiting teacher,
temples to be married in, a Prophet
and General Conference that I get
to watch this
weekend.

15 years and 6 months

We have big news.....

Jackson got his drivers permit!!
He even got it on his first try.
He is a good learner
and
of course, he wants to drive all the time.
I am selfishly excited for when he
can drive himself to batting lessons or run
to the grocery store for me.
Either way I win
and I love that.

Jake Bennett

this is our caboose.... Jake Bennett with his
girlfriend Scout.
He loves to play with her, tease her
and love her.
She feels the same about him.

Jake loves to do everything with his dad and his
big brother Jackson.
He is a funny little man but he
totally fits into our family
and we wouldn't know what to do without him.
It is hard to believe that he started
1st grade this year.
He loves school but his favorite parts are
lunch, recess and PE.
I am sure that he will have his
teacher wrapped around
his finger by the end of the month.
He has mastered that skill for sure!

Boutique Season is here

Can you believe that we are now in the 4th quarter of the year??
I can't!
That means that I become a weekend boutique crazed woman
selling this.
Don't get me wrong....I love this and I love selling this,
but what it means is that I need more crock-pot recipes!!
If you are in the Gilbert/Mesa area
check us out here.
