May 4th
The kids had a great visit with their dad today. When we got there, he was sitting up in a chair waiting for us. The kids were able to see him look pretty normal and more importantly give him a hug and kiss on the cheek. Life almost seemed normal with all of us in one room. Jake should get the chance to see his dad maybe by Wed. or Thur, he is hoping for Wednesday of course. Shane enjoyed the visit today, but he is very tired. But, all in all today is a good day

What a wonderful Sunday. It is so marvelous that he has made so much progress. I know the road ahead is going to be long and tough, but the life lessons learned by you will seal you together forever.
Best wishes for another great week of progress. I am sure seeing the kids was incredibly great medicine.

The ballfields need you back, so it is good to see you getting your coaching voice back!! My wife and I are paraying for your speedy recovery each night at memorial services for her mom!!

Here's to good days! What a sweet picture your post puts in my mind of the children's reunion with their Dad. Families....there aren't words to describe what they mean to us are there?
