Shane is sleeping, so unfortunately you have me writing the post tonight. He had a pretty productive day for a Saturday in rehab. Saturdays are a slower day for the therapists, but Shane did get a solid hour of walking, stretching and upper body strengthening. His wounds look pretty good and seem to be improving each day. He gets the day off tomorrow, so maybe I can get him to write the post.

Thanks so much for keeping us posted on how you are doing. You continue to be in our prayers. We are so happy that things are progressing. We look forward to having you back at your home!
We sure appreciate having Haley in Laurels. She and the other sophomore and junior Laurels sang, "Joseph Smith's First Prayer" at our Laurel Senior Tribute. It was BEAUTIFUL! I know Haley doesn't LOVE singing too much but I was so pleased that they were all willing to sing. They sounded like angels!
Have a wonderful Sabbath and know that we are thinking of you.

We continue to add Shane to our prayers each night at synagogue. I also pray to the Baseball Gods for his speedy recovery so I can see him in the coaching box at 3rd base!!

Hello there Shane and Sara. Sara, you very likely don't remember me--my name is Bridget (James) Lake and I grew up with Shane. I heard word of his accident and have been praying for him and all of you. I'm so very happy to hear you are in rehab, Shane, and things are looking up!! The power of prayer is so awesome! I will continue to keep you in my thoughts and prayers. Take care--Bridget
